About Robert

Robert Dunne joined Chaparral Land Company in February of 2002 as a land broker specializing in residential land acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Dunne provides land brokerage and consultation services to property owners, lenders, investors, government agencies, mixed-use/multi-family developers and merchant homebuilders. With a specific focus on urban, in-fill opportunities, Mr. Dunne performs in-depth research to facilitate the Purchase and Sale of well-located properties within the greater Los Angeles area and western Inland Empire sub-markets. As a long-term resident of Los Angeles County, Mr. Dunne brings an extensive local knowledge base to the process of identifying and evaluating properties for residential development and is particularly adept at locating properties that might not ordinarily be considered as residential opportunities.

Prior to joining Chaparral Land Company, Mr. Dunne spent a decade in the film business, working in the field of cinematography. Drawing from his years of experience in an industry where creativity is the rule, Mr. Dunne brings a propensity for creative thinking to his endeavors in land brokerage. His ability to "think outside the box" during transaction negotiations and deal management has afforded Mr. Dunne the opportunity to see complex land deals through to fruition, even under the most challenging circumstances. Since joining Chaparral Land Company, Mr. Dunne has been involved in residential land transactions totaling more than $200 million throughout Southern California.
